I have struggled with my weight most of my adult life. I have tried just about every diet/eating plans/program out there. I had some limited success on my own, but I could never reach my goal. Then after I turned 50, I noticed my weight getting higher and higher again. I had heard a lot about the GLP-1 for weight loss, but I was pretty nervous to try it. I tried doing some research on my own and was overwhelmed by all the different companies that offer it but it seems like a one stop shop where it was a one-size-fits-all Program. Then I met nurse practitioner Elaine. She explained to me how the injections work and she spent time to help me decide what type of medication would be most effective for me. She also helped me with the dosing at the pace that worked best for me personally. Having her along my side for this journey has been amazing! She is always there to check on me and cheer me on. She is available for any questions or concerns that I have and always explains things thoroughly and make sure that I am doing the best that I possibly can. I have had amazing results! Far beyond what I thought was possible. I know there are a lot of options out there and it can be overwhelming! My husband and I are total foodies! We also are Disneyland passholders so we go at least once a week and we are all about trying the new snacks. Doing the weight loss journey together has an added perk is that we easily share one meal when we go out and often times have leftovers from that! That comes to sharing snacks too when we’re at amusement parks. So not only are we saving calories we are saving in the pocketbook.$$$$ On a side side note, I am a girly who loves to have a cocktail on her nights off. But since starting the GLP-1, my desire for alcohol is zero!

Jen Guthrie is the epitome of creating harmony and has such a warm heart. The tranquility mentioned is truly applicable to Nubo Spa. Throughout the years, I make my drive from Sacramento. Jen and Shiva are very personable, such a novelty.

She has a special talent for placement and will meet your facial needs perfectly. Shiva is one of the sweetest humans I have ever met! I feel grateful to be in her care. I was greeted by Zardel, the client care coordinator. She was professional and kind and informative. I met the director Jen Guthrie, as well as the medical director. The services I had done here were; Dysport and filler from Lisa and Heather. I am new to med spas, yet my results are incomparable. Overall, Nubo Med Spa has a wonderful, spotless environment with professionals that give top Notch anti aging and wellness services.
