Peptide Therapy

Preparation

Elevate treatments do not require extensive preparation on your end. However, to keep you comfortable and ensure that you get the most out of your sessions, we recommend that you stay well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment, eat a light meal to stave off any hunger discomfort or lightheadedness that may occur, and wear comfortable clothes to your appointment. You may receive more detailed information before your treatment appointment.

Procedure

All of our Elevate treatments are relatively quick and easy. All injection treatments, including the Myers’ Cocktail and B12 shots, will be administered intravenously, with the IV therapy requiring you to sit comfortably in our state-of-the-art Berkeley facility for about 30-60 minutes for full effects. Hormone therapy treatments will depend on the applicable form of administration. If you receive hormone pellet therapy, we can place tiny pellets beneath your skin on the abdomen or arms. These pellets slowly release hormones into your bloodstream to help your body rebalance itself. If you would benefit from hormone injections instead, we can administer the injections to improve your hormone levels.

Recovery

Recovery from all Elevate wellness therapies requires little to no downtime. You may experience minor irritation, swelling, or bruising at injection sites, and you may wish to schedule some rest directly following your treatments, but you should be able to return to most regular activities right away.

Results

The natural processes that Elevate treatments initiate occur internally, so external results may take several weeks to develop. This is especially true with HRT. Some forms of hormone replacement therapy may be covered by insurance, especially when it is medically recommended to treat symptoms of menopause or other hormonal deficiencies. What are some symptoms of high cortisol?

Some symptoms of high cortisol levels may include fatigue, muscle weakness, sudden weight gain in the face, abdomen, and upper back, bruising, and more. A simple blood or urine test may be administered to detect high levels of this stress hormone.

How often will I need to get peptide injections for them to be effective?

Depending on the treatment, peptide injections are typically administered anywhere from daily to weekly, usually as part of a one to three-month cycle marked by breaks.
